How to validate a business registration

Check for UEN status to be "REGISTERED"

Obtain the business registration document for the subscriber that has the following logo:

https://www.ssm.com.my/Pages/e-Search.aspx
Select the drop down with the words “company registration”
Select the appropriate drop down that relates to the length of the registration ID provided within the document:

• old registration IDs are 4 to 10 digits
• new registration IDs are 12 digits

Check the search response for the name on the “Entity Type” to match the name on the document.
Check the “Status” as existing.

Obtain the business registration document for the subscriber that has the following logo:

Optionally the business registration document can be substituted by a document from “Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia” with the following logo.

Copy the business name “Nama Perusahaan” and paste into the search site. https://companieshouse.id/

Select the correct output name to view the company information and match the address shown to the registration document provided.

If the business name does not appear on the list from companieshouse.id then the business may be registered as a foreign entity trading company. This will be indicated by the mention of a SIUP3A document.

This document will indicate a business registration ID number that can be searched at https://www.badanperizinan.co.id/nib.html to validate. Check the business name matches the customer name and also the status is "Registered NIB status".

For reference below are the various Indonesian Business types indicated within the registered business name:

• PT (Perseroan Terbatas) - a locally owned limited liability company.
• PT PMA (Perseroan Terbatas Penanaman Modal Asing) - a limited liability company with foreign direct investment.
• TBK (Terbuka) - a publicly listed company.
• CV (Comanditaire Venootschap) - a limited partnership, sole owner, full liability with no foreign ownership.

Obtain the business registration document for the subscriber that has the following logo:

Use the following site to search upon the business name or registration number from the document provided: https://datawarehouse.dbd.go.th/

Check both the “Juristic person” name and number matches those provided within the document.

Check the “status” response is “Still in business”

Locate the ABN

Go to https://abr.business.gov.au/

Validate the ABN Status as Active

Validate the GST status as Registered

If the corporate name does not match then check the Business Name section for related name match.

Obtain the business registration document for the subscriber that has the following logo:

Use the legal name from the document to search https://www.mca.gov.in/mcafoportal/showCheckCompanyName.do within the Company/LLC name field.

From the output match the “LLPIN/CIN/Form INC-1 Ref No” with the “Corporate Identity Number” from the document.

Also from the output check the “State” matches the address within the document.

Check the “Company Name Status” is “Allocated”

1. write the name of the company in the section “Finn foretak/selskap” and press Enter
2. on the new page, under the label “Navn”, there is a link to the company details that open on a new page
3. verify data with the data present on the page

Locate the Business registration from the proof document supplied by the subscriber:

If the ID provides a result advising VAT is being paid the registration is current and valid.
