Document Proof Best Practices

Accept only original documents or certified copies.

Accept only documents that are currently valid. Typical term periods for documents are less than 6months old however validity dates may prevail within the document allowing for longer validity.

Accept only documents that are termed as “use in the community”. Such documents are commonly known as utility invoices.

Where a document authenticity requires further validation contact the issuing authority.

In event of further trust, requirements require at least one form of the trusted photograph via a government-approved identification body.
